Welsh Football Association Regional Pitchside Workshop

Led by the Football Association of Wales, this one day workshop will give interested students and healthcare professionals a free taster of what a football trauma cause involves. Pitchside Medicine with Dr Ibrahim Malik

An evening with Dr Ibrahim Malik - a emergency medicine and sports doctor with experience in rugby, football, motorsport, boxing and more. There will be a talk on the key principles of pitch-side medicine including specific sporting considerations; scenario based simulation practice run as a circuit with coaching; and a final talk and Q&A about life as a sports doctor. It's due to be a great evening whether you're a preclinical medical student, a junior doctor, a physio, first responder, sports student, or a paramedic - Everyone is welcome! We are advertising tickets on the University of Manchester SU site, Careerbook and Medhive. All tickets are valid, but please fill in the google form to confirm your attendance. We will send attendance certificates to your contact address as per the google form and will guide our scenarios based on your prior experience.
